Season in Hell (Framed)

This painting features my friend and fellow artist Anty and is based on a poem written and published in 1873 by French writer Arthur Rimbaud. In this Poem, he identifies two voices at work in this surreal narrative, the two separate parts to Rimbaud's schizoid personality. I wanted to paint what I felt while reminiscing about this poem I read in school. 

This artwork comes with an external frame.
